I’m Kris Kaufman, the creator of Design Scavenger. It is my goal to empower resourceful renters to break through the constraints of low budgets, minimal tools and rented spaces, in order to create a home that is reflective of their lifestyle and personality.
Using three cheap and compact tools, up-cycled, thrift store, and found materials, renters will learn techniques, tips and tricks that will ensure their space has style and functionality. Keeping in mind that what ever we do in the space, has to be undone in order to ensure the safe return of their security deposit.
Together we’ll leave no dumpster unturned, no alleyway unprowled and no garage undiscovered. All in the pursuit of resourceful design. Role up your sleeves and happy hunting!
